Kate started her 365 project on 4 January 2014. A friend told her about the official 365 challenge, which is a worldwide phenomenon, but Kate is one of the few photographers to shoot in infrared and her circular format makes her collection even more distinctive.
First of all, she can’t see through her viewfinder while shooting in infrared, so a lot of guesswork is involved and the circular crop requires completely different composition to a camera’s rectangle or Instagram’s square format.
