MEET THE TEAM: RORY

Rory is the face behind the Roodebloem Studios Facebook page and the little birdy perched on the @StudiosRS twitter timeline. Originally from Zimbabwe, Rory moved to South Africa, then spent a couple of years in China before returning to Cape Town and has been working at Roodebloem Studios for just over a year and a half now.

Rory’s favourite food is sushi although it once had a bad experience with some tuna that put him off for a while but he’s gotten over that. He also enjoys hiking and has just started trail running. His passion outside of the studio is wildlife photography.

Growing up Rory always wanted to be a pilot and if he could be anywhere it would be in a plane, no matter the destination he just loves flying. No surprise then that if he won a million Rand the first thing he’d do is get his pilot license. After which he’d probably buy a 500mm lens and fly to every game lodge that had a landing strip.
