On 9 Feb 2015, our Drive-In photographic studio was taken over for shots of a different kind, when 10 of the best mixologists in the country descended for the prestigious event. Armed with their technical bar know-how and bespoke cocktail creations, these wizards of the wet bar entertained the crowd with bartending showmanship.
Denzel Heath took the night with his signature cocktail, ‘The Lennox’; a premium shake-up of Bacardi Carta Oro Rum, Perdo Ximenez Sherry, banana infusion, and more. Competing against 40 bartenders from across the globe, Heath will now go on to represent South Africa in the BACARDÍ LEGACY Global Cocktail Competition 2015 World Finals in May. Held in Sydney, this will be the first time the finale will take place in the Southern Hemisphere.
