Last week Shereen Amos of Sugarbird Studios and Valentina Mrslove put on a production like no other in our Church Studio. This was in association with SircuSynergy, with Lauren Amy Hoffmeyer and Rory Avenstrup. They transformed our Church Studio into a variety of stages making use of the curve as well as suspending acrobatic acts from the ceiling rafters. A canvas stretched over our Courtyard protected the welcome area from the elements and to carry the theatrical theme all the way through they even dressed up our security guard.

Unlike other event venues our photographic studios are essentially blank canvases where, if you can imagine it, you can do it. For a recent event, Mr Price stuck tape on the stairs and dots on our floors. They put up walls, hung things from the ceiling and even painted our front door blue. And for that extra wow factor they served drinks on our roof top deck. It’s amazing how they transformed this venue so if you have any creative ideas for your next event then why not come and see what you can do with any one of our studios.
We just love what they did with our Jett and Kitchen Studios as well as how they incorporated the Mezzanine and Roof Deck areas for this event.
Back in 2008 we bought the dilapidated building across the road from our Church and Hall Studios. We listened to what Cape Town and you wanted from a studio and then we created it. Our Daylight building features daylight, drive in and modern kitchen studio facilities.
