For the December issue of ELLE the fashion team focuses on crazy but beautiful clothes. The idea for the shoot was to take ‘serious’ clothes and wearing them in a fun way. As ELLE’s fashion editor, Poppy Evans, says, ‘It’s only when you stop taking clothes so seriously, that they truly come to life. Have a ball and live a little.’
Asked if there were any hiccups Poppy Evans said “we took a while to get started – originally we were going to shoot on black backdrops but we ended up swapping in a grey shade at the very last minute. It all worked out in the end though!”
We are known for our stunning photographic studios but we also have a gear rental department for all your photographic equipment and lighting needs as well as a large selection of paper and canvas backdrops.

Our Church Studio is a favourite with fashion photographers with a dedicated make-up room and privacy away from other studios.
It is 200 m2 (18 x 11m) with a curve measuring 5.5m x 6m x 7m high. It has 125 amps over 3 phases of power available, a sound system with iPod dock and varnished Oregon wood floors. Like all our studios it has wireless internet and black out capability. To see all the spaces available to rent visit our photographic studios page.
