Our Church studio hosted the second half of this this amazing shoot for the Elle Deco Africa Issue last year photographed by talented team, The Seppis.
It was a pleasure for us to have these creatives putting together content for this celebration of african design in our original studio space.
This shoot started off on the rooftop of Cape Town’s State Warehouse as seen in the BTS video below then moving in studio to feature South African Singer superstar Lira as well as more from the 9 piece band from Pretoria, African Rhythm Production.
The stylish and never before recorded band effortlessly shared the spotlight with the acclaimed six album recording artist and created a great vibe together in our photo/film/event venue/location space.
The 2oo m2 of adjustable studio space accommodated the 9 piece band, the crew and all the interior decor brought in very comfortably. The band also conducted interviews in the space which is often hired out as a film studio – the adjustable bounce board above the 5.5m x 6m x 7m high infinity curve is also used to aid sound recordings.
We love that the Africa Issue is a celebration of the future of design in Africa and its potential to drive change and that our studios saw this creative collaboration come into being.
