We all know how unpredictable the weather in Cape Town can be, and even in summer an outdoor shoot can be spoilt by the howling south-easterly wind. Ell Magazine for their November issue swimwear feature took these factors out of the equation by renting our Hall Studio and building a beach set indoors. With 240kgs of sand and a couple of loungers to complete the scene they rigged a camera five metres above the set to shoot from a bird’s-eye view.

The Hall is our best value for money studio to rent and as you can see it’s great for small set builds. It is 180 m2 (14 x 12.5m) with a flat wall measuring 5.1m wide x 4.2m high. It has 3 x 32 amps of power available, sound system with iPod dock and a dedicated make-up room. Like all our studios it has wireless internet and black out capability. To see all the spaces available to rent visit our photographic studios page.
